Parece que la van bien las cosas a la compañía alemana Crytek (creadores de Far Cry, Crysis y Crysis: Warhead), pues en la mañana de hoy nos informan de la creación de un nuevo estudio de desarrollo interno. Bajo el nombre de Crytek Ltd., esta compañía subsidiaria se afincará en Seúl, Korea del Sur, con la intención de expandir el mercado de Crytek hacia Asia y de tener un equipo de trabajo dedicado a dar soporte a los muchos licenciatarios de su más reciente motor gráfico, el CryEngine 2.

Frankfurt (Germany) / Seoul (South Korea), November 18th 2008 – Crytek announced today that it has founded Crytek Ltd., a subsidiary company in Seoul. The South-Korean based office, led by gaming industry veteran Young Mok Park, started operations recently. The team will expand Crytek's business into Asian markets, starting with Crytek's engine licensing business, with a dedicated engine support team for their existing and new partners in Korea and Asia.
