Mediante un comunicado oficial, Eidos y Funcom nos comunican que más de 500.000 jugadores ya se han apuntado a la comunidad de Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, uno de los MMO más prometedores para este recién empezado 2008, los cuales participarán en la beta o pertenecerán al club de fans "Clan of Conan". Según ha comentado Trond Arne, CEO de Funcom, "La atención masiva que Age of Conan está generando a traves de toda la comunidad internacional de jugadores es, simplemente, impresionante. Durham, USA – February 6th, 2008 – Funcom and Eidos are excited to announce that over 500,000 gamers from all over the world have signed up to become a member of the Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures community by either signing up for the ongoing beta test or by joining the WClan of ConanW official fan club. Funcom is responding to the growing numbers by introducing websites and forums for the English, German, French and Spanish market to support the launch in all of these territories.
