Un año más, Major Nelson ha realizado una lista con los datos de los 20 juegos más jugados a través del servicio Xbox Live de Xbox 360, en esta ocasión durante el pasado año 2008. Si bien a día de hoy lo más jugado está siendo Call of Duty: World at War, en el cómputo general del año el título que se lleva los honores es Halo 3, el estreno del Jefe Maestro en la nueva consola de Microsoft. El segundo puesto es para otro habitual en estas listas, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, mientras que el tercero es para Grand Theft Auto IV. Entre los títulos más recientes destacar la cuarta de Gears of War 2 y la sexta del ya citado Call of Duty: World at War. En cuanto a los juegos de Xbox Live Arcade, el preferido por los usuarios de 360 ha sido el genial Castle Crashers, con Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2 y Braid ocupando la segunda y tercera posición, respectivamente. Por último, en cuanto a los juegos de la Xbox original, lo más jugado sigue siendo, como no, Halo 2, seguido por Fable y Star Wars: Battlefront 2.
