Si bien Wii y Nintendo DS se llevaron todo el protagonismo en la conferencia Pre-E3 de Nintendo, GameCube acudirá al E3 2006 con una buena cantidad de títulos bajo el brazo, de diferentes compañías, que hará que sus usuarios no se sientan tan abandonados. En la lista se pueden ver algunos juegos nuevos como Super Paper Mario y Donkey Kong Bongo Blast, además de la confirmación de que la nueva entrega de Splinter Cell también llegará al cubo de Nintendo.
